The LANpoint 7 Terminals are available with various built-in factory options.

These options are selected by specific characters in the model number format:

LP7 w x y z-a bb c B, where:

Model letter definitions

w specifies the wireless ethernet connectivity option (all units have drivers for Sierra Wireless AirCard860 EDGE/GPRS/GSM WAN Compact Flash radio card that can be supplied by customer) :

w = 0: Wired Ethernet 10/100BaseT only

w = 5: Wireless Ethernet Equipped with factory-installed IEEE802.11b/g 11/54Mbps, internal antenna cable, external antenna

x specifies touchscreen:

x = 0: ½ VGA Color LCD, without Touchscreen

x = 1: ½ VGA Color LCD with Touchscreen

y specifies the enclosure:

y = 0: Standard NEMA-12/IP54 Drip-Proof Rear Enclosure

y = 2: Weatherproof Sealed Rear Enclosure - also includes LPA768 waterproof connector cover

y = 3: Tilt Wall-Mount Case

z specifies the Operating System:

z = 0: Windows CE.NET v4.2

z = 1: Windows CE v5.0

a is the digital I/O option:

a = 0: No Digital I/O

a = 1: 8 Isolated Digital Inputs & 8 Fused Mechanical Relay Digital Outputs

a = 2: 8 Isolated Digital Inputs & 4 Fused Mechanical Relay Digital Outputs

a = 3: Isolated Digital Inputs & 2 Fused Mechanical Relay Digital Outputs

bb is custom configurations & keyboard options:

bb = 00: Standard QWERTY Keyboard

bb = 0L: "lock down" kiosk browser in addition to the standard Microsoft IE browser

c is the memory option:

c = 0: 32MB of RAM + 64MB Flash
