The LANpoint TIME is a Windows CE Time and Attendance timeclock with choice of operating systems - Windows CE.NET v4.2 or Windows CE 5.0 - and options suitable for secure access control functionality as well as integrated time and attendance features.  Ethernet/Internet network connectivity is provided by 10/100BaseT wired Ethernet.  Factory-installed IEEE802.11b/g wireless Ethernet radio is optional.  Open architecture for ease of installation and operation. 

Choice of autoID input options - keyboard alone, barcode or magnetic stripe readers, RFID proximity reader, and biometric fingerprint reader, which can be used to prevent buddy-punching or allow positively identified individuals to have access to secure areas.  The fingerprint reader can be used in conjunction with any - or none - of the other autoID reader options.
